It is a day in which 1st year secondary school students are hosted by professionals as they perform their daily activities.
This offers students a new perspective on the importance of education and training, bringing them face-to-face with different future career alternatives, introducing them to the opportunities and demands of employment and preparing them as 21st century professionals.
- Provide students with a new perspective on the importance of education and training.
- Develop skills.
- Close the gap between education and the professional sphere.
Prepare a working day with the most significant and challenging activities for students. Review industry trends and the professional skills required.
The professional will be responsible for providing the youth with a meal during the workday.
Although you can visit other departments, this is NOT a guided tour.
See Manual for Professionals.
The pre-registration will be open all year.
Two editions, in May and November. The hosting of the students will be between 12th and 31st of May.
All students will be insured for the day at the expense of Fundación Novia Salcedo.
Fundación Novia Salcedo will conduct a prior workshop (October) to clarify any doubts the professionals may have.
The workshop is voluntary and attendance is not a requirement to participate in the programme.
